Sofasticated Instrumentation Facility

The College of Fisheries, Kishanganj, is equipped with a Sophisticated Instrumentation Facility to support advanced teaching, research, and analytical investigations in fisheries science, biotechnology, and allied disciplines. The facility houses state-of-the-art instruments, including Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS), High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS), RT-PCR system, flame photometer, ultracentrifuge, nano-volume spectrophotometer, gel documentation system, thermal cycler, refrigerated centrifuge, upright microscope, and inverted microscope. These instruments facilitate precise chemical and elemental analysis, molecular diagnostics, nucleic acid quantification, biomolecular separation, gene expression studies, microscopic examination, and characterization of biological and environmental samples.
