Aquatic Environment Management Department of College of Fisheries, Kishanganj is actively engaged in teaching, research and extension on various aspects of fisheries including water and soil quality management, emerging pollutants, groundwater contamination and aquatic biodiversity. The lab is equipped with state-of-art instruments such as HPLC, Spectrophotometer, Flame Photometer, Multi-parameter water analyzer, BOD incubator, refrigerated centrifuge etc. Department have two ongoing institutional research projects and conducted need based externally funded trainings and workshops for fish farmers.
