A well-managed museum (Padmashri Dr. S. Ayyappan Fish Museum) is developed for better practical knowledge of fish taxonomy. At present 155 species fish (finfish and shellfish) is presently available in museum along with detailed information provided in QR code. The Models of Fishing crafts and Gears are also available in museum for teaching and practical aspects.
